Dr. Johnson was born and raised in Colerain Township and a graduate of Colerain High School. After graduating from veterinary college, she worked for two years at a small animal hospital in Louisville Kentucky before returning home to Cincinnati to practice. Her family has been a long time client of Peach Grove Animal Hospital and Dr. Johnson volunteered and worked at the hospital while in high school. While attending undergraduate college, she worked for three years at Paramount’s Kings Island’s former Wild Animal Habitat ( one hundred acre animal preserve) as a seasonal zookeeper and participated in raising/rehabilitating various orphaned and injured birds and small mammals. During veterinary college, Dr. Johnson worked at two different animal hospitals and assisted in the drug testing of harness race horses for the State of Ohio. In her spare time, Dr. Johnson enjoys reading, gardening, creating crafts out of natural gourds and collecting Longaberger baskets! She has 5 cats – "Raisin", "FeeBee", "Oatmeal", "Spider" and "Olive" – and a large tropical fish aquarium that keep her busy when she is not working.
